Clint Reynolds owned the deep end! True ape...

Rim Nakamura almost won the comp and he's only 16! Huge future for the Japanese powerhouse.

When you begin a run in the finals with a hop-whip into the deep end, you mean business. Alex Leibrock just missed the podium in 2017 but he made sure he was on there in 2018.

Loving the fact that Van Homan, Garrett Byrnes, and Isaac McCrea were at the event!

Trey Jones styled his way into the top 10 earning a spot for HB.

Trey Jones

Tomas Fuentes - Allyoop Table

The Cran man and Darryl packed in the one-liners and entertained us all day long.

He's 16 and nearly won the event. Rim Nakamura's dad owns a bike shop in Japan, and that's how he got the name Rim. What a cool name!

Pabel Marquez came up from Guadalajara, Mexico to try his luck at the Vans BMX Pro Cup.

We had 3 women riders join the jam and Charlotte Worthington came all the way from the UK. Charlotte knows how to flow a bowl and has a great future in our series.

Nathan Halahan - Underage demo run. Can't wait for Nathan to turn 16 so he can officially ride these!

Rothrock Coffee's Ronnie Napolitan packed in almost a full days work even before riding the event and he ended up with 4th.

We'll be seeing John Wadlund in Huntington Beach after his 8th place finish.

It's an honor to have Van Homan even show up to support the event, let alone ride in it.

California's Baby Johnny - John Wadlund

Jay Dalton was backed for the win by the Woodward locals... A couple of unfortunate moves in the finals moved him from 2nd to 19th though. This kid has the skills and we hope to see more of him on the tour.

While Jay Dalton may of overcooked this air, it was well worth a post. Look at the reactions in the crowd. Yeah, it was incredible. See the clip in our official video recap..

Brazilians love the Vans BMX Pro Cup. This was Henrique Castro's first experience. Bonus fact: 'Valvoline' as we call him used to live with Ryan Guettler in Greenville, NC from 2008-2010.

It's always a party when the Brazilians rock up!

Ever Peacock earned a spot for Huntington Beach. Will he pack the raccoon fur to bring to the beach? We hope so...

Jamie Cooper-Ellis spends spring harvesting maple syrup and summer is spent on a dairy farm. I'm sure he enjoyed his time in the sun at Woodward.

It's really cool when super-star pro's judge the event. DMC and Joe Rich putting their opinions to paper.

Digging Dillon Jaye's steeze. I saw him getting around camp with one red Vans Authentic and one blue one. His gap into the deep-end was awesome and to think about 3'ing it was nuts. Maybe next year!

Nathan and Lukas Halahan

Riders from Chile, Spain, and Mexico all in one shot. Thanks for making the effort guys.

Cult Crew's young guns Preston Okert and John Wadlund

Clint Reynolds was hitting the deep end higher than anyone.

Chris Doyle, Trey Jones and DMC catching up. I can only imagine the story DMC is telling them. Nothing can compare to the life-or-death situation Chris just endured.

That's a mean one footer, shoe-less and all. Caio Sousa did Canadian the sub perfectly though. It's in the highlight video...

Brad Maple got super whipped on this.

Nate Wessel and Garrett Byres! So happy to have these two at the event.

Big Boy is no longer big. He told us he has lost 100 pounds. Incredible.

Scotty Cranmer working hard for an upcoming episode for his channel.

Alex Leibrock said he's having the best year of his life, and it's only getting better with invites to the rest of the Pro Tour!

See you in Huntington Beach, Alex!

Aaron Simone works at the airport and goes standby on flights all over the world. Let us hope he can recover from his accident and make it to Huntington Beach.

That's an air from coming straight up the wedge... Unreal. Aaron Simone

Aaron Simone unfortunately took the roughest slam of the day. Hope you get better soon Aaron. We're thinking about you.

Clint Reynolds almost went home on Tuesday night. His parent's house recently burnt to the ground. His wife is expecting their first child and Clint is set to pour cement on his backyard bowl extension and was busy working on that. We're sure glad he stayed. Congrats for his first big win after years of contributions to BMX.

Plenty of campers came to support and witness Clint Reynolds go ape in the deep end.

Campers getting the shot. Tag us #vansbmxprocup!!!

Our podium - Alex Leibrock from Ohio, Clint Reynolds from New Hampshire and Rim Nakamura from Japan.
